Vlastuin CDI - always in motion

Vlastuin CDI is a Dutch family-run business, founded in 1967 by C.J. Vlastuin and his wife. The head office and the showroom are located in Baarn. In its early years, the company's main activities concerned the sale of transport and storage containers to a large group of well-known companies, such as Philips, Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways), RDM and Hoogovens.

Over the years, Vlastuin CDI adapted and expanded its range of products to include product packaging and presentation materials. Developments were based on customer demand and possibilities in the market. The international search for innovative ideas and products resulted in the introduction of successful new product lines, including paraffin-coated cardboard cups for ice cream, honey and syrups, and plastic cups for beverage machines. Based on this success and the company's solid reputation, Vlastuin CDI acquired the exclusive rights to sell STI Gustav Stabernack GmbH products in the Netherlands in 1983, and later also in the other Benelux countries.

The current owners, Harro and Cornelis Vlastuin, joined the company in 1985. In the years that followed, turnover with STI Gustav Stabernack in the Benelux increased. This growth was combined with the development of the company's own in-store communication and Point of Sale products, such as the POPAI-award-winning MTPâ hybrid display system, standard shelf systems and the Conformo 3000 tray. Nowadays, the Vlastuin CDI programme is divided into 9 different areas of expertise:

With a team of 10 staff members, Vlastuin CDI serves a diverse group of prominent customers throughout Europe. This includes multinationals such as Kraft Foods / LU, Henkel Schwarzkopf, L'Oreal, Unilever, United Biscuits and retailers such as Albert Heijn, Etos, A.S. Watson, DELHAIZE and Dynaretail. Vlastuin CDI is proud of the long-lasting relationships it has built up with these customers over the years. Challenges, partnerships with customers, new materials, new production methods and market options are combined with over 30 years of experience. This is the reason why Vlastuin CDI is always in motion!
